If the reasons given by the Tory Party for abstention are correct, they should have voted against the Bill. As a traditional Tory suppoter, I find that encreasingly it is the House ofLlords which provides the opposition which represents my views and interests.
So who do I vote for?

There will be further activation issues to watch out for as Microsoft plans to offer a similar service to independent software vendors whereby they can "control" licensing through activation and other measures similar to the Software Protection Platform.
