Story: Intel catches up with its 64-bit competitors
i wonder what makes the author think that nobody runs 64-bit apps ?? they've been around for quite some time now, and most of the major games have a 64-bit version released within months of the 32-bit release. and i'm talking about just games. there are hundreds of developers who use desktops for development work and use 64-bit versions of databases like oracle etc. just coz intel didn't release a 64-bit desktop processor till now doesn't mean that "nobody" uses 64-bit apps. wake up !!
