I am telling you how it is, infact you nead to step up to the plate. I am a user of zoomtext the best software for the visually impared. you should take a long look at what they have achieved so far, un fortuntatelly it is only avalible for winblows. you can do a better job if you try a little harder, for example a seemless full screen magnification works better than a small part of the screen hint hint. you have made improvements to your desktop, but take to the next level. then I might try lusing linux it is not that hard to learn ownly if I can see it with no eye strain.
