Amazon has deeper problems than open source or Microsource. Recently I sent a personal check to amazon.com, and the "e-commerce firm" lost it -- What if it had been a money order? -- and all I could get in the way of a response was form e-mail. Amazon.com has gotten too big for its CRM -- and that ought to be its biggest "commitment".
