tbh i think the fact that other mobile operators arent following this line has nothing to do with the possibility BT may be keeping price of entry unreasonably high but more to do with market desire for the device/concept. a home phone is a home phone, if you live in a family then the phone stays in the house. the only people i can envisage using this thing are perhaps singles/couples with no kids.
also if its the size of a brick i think it might be (Google Images no joy for a bluephone) then who is gonna want to cart the thing around?
