SNAP! I have the 8890 and it looks just the same. The immediate improvement I can see is that the screen moves up to reveal the keypad and not the shell covering the keypad moving down.
With my 8890 the shell can get in the way when operating the keypad. Yea sure its got custom tones, chemical etched this and that, camera, colour phone...
But the 7280 is still at the top of my list.
