Story: Sexism still rife in IT support

The article fails to mention that most of the males in IT support have degree qualifications but most of the females don't.
For men it's virtually impossible to get into IT support without a degree these days, but they'll readily hire girls straight out of high school.
Females are almost always given promotions over men because they want to keep girls in the companies. And people wonder why males are less happy with working in IT than females!
Yes, there's sexism in IT but it's certainly not against the females.
