Story: Crowds gather at Apple's second UK store
A few weeks ago I read a book about how oscar winning film editor Walter Murch cut together the $80 million movie Cold Mountain on supe'd up G4 workstations using the $900 Final Cut Pro 3.0.
Ever since then my life long obsession of Mac hating has waned considerably and I'm now next months paycheque away from buying a 12" Powerbook.
None the less, I don't think I'll EVER understand why people become so utterly obsessed with Apple products that they queue up overnight when a new store opens somewhere, with only their iPods, Powerbooks and other Mac-obsessed nutters to keep them company!
Crazy.
