Story: Intel reveals second-gen dual-core details

This is sloppy journalism. Smithfield is the first generation of dual core chips for the desktop. Presler is the second generation. That means that Conroe, the desktop chip to succeed Presler is the 3rd generation. Are these journalists actually paid to write this stuff??
