VoIP Toolkit
Story: Voice over IP gateways
What about business telephony features? What about access to the corporate telephone directory? What about name display? Bridged Call appearance, call cantre agent functionality, the list goes on...
What is the point of giving a worker access to business telephony at home if they don't have the same feature set they are used to in the office? Especially when there are good value enterprise class IP Telephony products out there from all of the main PBX and IPT vendors that do have all of these features.
In my experience, deploying non enterprise class 'cheap and cheerful' technology is a false economy. You end up wasting money on a product that doesn't deliver to the real requirements of the business, and then kicking yourself that you then end up either canning the project because there is no money left or massively overspending when you then have to go and buy the proper solution that you should have bought in the first place.
Buyers beware! Ratners gold chains were cheap too, but that was because they were crap.
