Story: UK lagging on e-government

Apparently there is to be a revamp of the EU website, I think this would be best time for the UK to get involved and embrace the collaboration and standards that the EU website already has.

But just think how does the UK Governement go digital, put it all online, do they wait for more standards, Longhorn, more IT people or internal gov-groups....what?! How do they start such a thing, because of course the UK e-gov scheme with have to interoperate with the EU website and thats a big headache!!
