Story: Embedded computing to boom in Europe

It is inappropriate to cite MS, a no-show in the embedded market. Wind River, QNX or just about any other embedded systems company on the planet has a more central role in embedded technology than the behemoth in Redmond and would have made a more relevant closing paragraph. Was it a lapse in judgement or was the plug paid for?
Otherwise it was an interesting article and it has been useful to see ZDNet articles covering embedded systems and companies that work with or develop them.
