Story: Windows to become RFID-friendly

I think it would be silly to restrict RI-ID functionality just to business editions of Longhorn. I would like my home network to work with all wireless standards, why can't I have devices that take advantage of RF-ID too.

Why it was only yesterday I was talking to my local council about the garden waste recycle bin going missing, if it had an RF-ID tag (as some counties are trialling) then my home network would be able to tell me if the bin had strayed, when to put it out, when to collect it, if the bin men are satisfied with the waste I am giving them....

endless aplication derive from this and other cheap wireless technologies to make the digital home dream come true.
