Story: UK immigration policy 'damaging IT industry'

For some companies this is a problem, For the UK as a whole the issue is that we are still not producing young people with adequate (Both in depth and bredth) technical skils, This affects many industries, not just IT. And has been a problem for enough years that we should have addressed it.
Bringing in people from overseas with the latest 'in demand' skill at a good price is no substitute for investing in young people who already live here.
