Story: eBay heads to the top for patent reform

eBay has followed in Microsoft's footsteps, and now they are desperate to change patent law to avoid the consequences of their conduct. Like Microsoft eBay has been caught with their hands in others patent cookie jars and now they face the prospect of stiff damages for their conduct.

What is truly unfortunate for both companies is that America's top independent inventors have once again banded together to protect America's patent system and the prosperity it brings.

We are the same inventors who gutted the last patent deform effort in a battle which raged from 1993 to 2000. We have every intention of giving these big business bullies another attitude adjustment this time around.

Now is the time to start taking this danger VERY seriously. This is big and very nasty business in action. The objective seems absolutely clear. Destroy GPL and 'steal' all the technology. An activity with plenty of precedence.
