Zimmermann has an umblemished track record: he has never been able to design a product that works seamlessly with popular products; thus he has always marginalized his creations.

Notice that he says on his web site that his new VoIP encryption product has not been tested with Skype.

Zimmermann's efforts have been well publicized failures from a market perspective. I see no indication that he has learned his lesson, and I predict that this product will find no favor in the mainstream.

Engineering isn't the same as marketing.
