.xxx is so much easier to block. If legislation was introduced to force all violent and or sex orientated companies to stop using other suffixes, parents, Internet Cafes, employers etc. can block all content at just one click of a mouse. It makes me wonder the real reason behind the rejection. How many US politicians have shares in dodgy companies and would it damage their returns on profits? .xxx should have sailed through and been released very quickly but now the republicans can continue getting off on what they produce and collect the rewards for a while longer.
