"Google could not be immediately reached for comment." - Duh, try next year. Where has the author been - on the far side of the CNET moon? So the US gov't (aka Evil Empire) can't find enough human stooges to spy on its arch enemies, Moslems and Chinese, so it will have google do it. The CIA and google - perfect together for finding Chinese embassies, Al Jazeera's secret screen messages; the CIA and google's brainless match the word search - perfect together.

Back on topic, why wasn't AltaVista's Babel Fish included (remember SYSTRAN)?
