Story: Dell to launch dual-core Xeon servers

If Intel has not made any core adjustments, that bring a massive boost in performance, a 2.80 GHZ dual core xeon will still not even be as fast as the Dual core opteron 265/865 opteron (1.8Ggz) which AMD has had out for 6 months now. Not to mention AMD has 3 dual core chip models out right now, that are much faster than this (270/275/280). I mean don't get me wrong, people are gonna buy them; but it doesn't mean that the chips are not gonna measure up.
