So, snazy graphics and better searching? Sounds familiar. if you want an OS that's got that right now look no further than Apple Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Instant searching and an slick looking OS streets ahead of Windows.
Apple is already moving ahead with new innovations due out the same time (or earlier) than Vista in the shape of OS X 10.5 Leopard.
I have no particular need to "big up" Apple. I'm just someone who's switched from Windows to OS X and can say that it's the best thing I've ever done. From the sounds of it, when Vista comes out it doesn't look like I'll be missing much!
