Garth claiming that "Apple was almost to the point of being apologetic" is pretty far from the truth. Apple claims to promote opensource with there OSX but yet after hours of coding and over a year of developing iPodder Apple stepped in and wanted to through there weight around.

I really am disappointed in Apple's action toward a open source project that only helped their sales of their "iPod" device.

They could have only required a disclaimer on the iPodder Lemon website which would have been the right thing to do to keep the Open Source community happy and willing to work with promoting Apple's iPod.

With Apple's claim against us I highly doubt Apple will ever have good standing in the Open Source community because other developers that would like to promote something for a Apple product will only shy away from fear that Apple will come after them.
