Story: Desktop Linux for small business
Why don't you all just chill out? I've tried many distros, and when it comes down to it, that flashy install doesn't do anything for the user - Windows has a perfectly flashy install, but we're all scrambling towards linux- ubuntu has a simple install that, although text, is concise and easy to maneuver -with the exception of partition maintenance (something that i hope will be addressed soon) - and once installed, is one of the simplest to manage. It comes with all that the average business user needs, and if installed while connected to the net, allows simple installation of other necessary tools. Of course "your" linux distro might be a little bit better at one thing or another, and i'm not even going to say a word about "ease of ms office install" because it's superfluous. we're talking LINUX here people! for most business desktop use, I'd say that Ubuntu is the best, because I know. I call it "your mother's linux distro" because it is easy and comes with most if not all of what's necessary for general business use.
