Story: So why not put Linux on your business desktops?
My wife was on the phone last night with another lady from church regarding a phone list she keeps in a spreadsheet. I heard her offer to send the spreadsheet to the other lady. She said, "It's not in PDF format ready to print. It's a spreadsheet, so you have to have Excel. Do you have Excel?"
What I didn't tell her was that we ourselves don't have MS Excel installed. We keep the spreadsheet in OpenOffice.org! I did chime in that the other lady could just get OpenOffice.org for free.
With version 2.0, OpenOffice.org has indeed come to the point that in many cases it is easy to forget that you are "cheating on" Microsoft.
