Story: So why not put Linux on your business desktops?

What keeps me from switching my work PC to a Linux desktop? Primarily it's the compay-wide use of Lotus Notes, although I do occasionally have reason to fire up VC++. So I guess I'd need some kind of virtual machine-like arrangement too, so that I could still do that. But the rest of the time, my PC is nothing more than a fancy X client.
