regarding "Group Policy"..

Unix, & therefore, Linux, have had 'group policy'.., well, (almost) forever (certainly for the last 20 years.. Of course, *nix's use different tools than Windows, but that doesn't mean the tools aren't there. It appears your 'real' complaint is Linux isn't Windows.. To that I say, YEA!

Its the applications and device drivers that run on windows that cement its dominance. How many people would fork out hundreds of pounds for Vista if Linux ran all the software and kit they wanted to use.
