Ofcourse, fighting symptoms rather then causes is the formula to have to repeat yourself. Perhaps we need to dig a little deeper before touting 'solutions' that might very well turn out to be needed (or not) temporary fixes.
THE question still unanswered is: how did this all happen? Root cause analysis, please. Followed thereafter with: how to fix it and prevent it from happening again without giving up on the things that are already good?
Dig, research and investigate. Just don't be surprised if lack of enough and unavoidable liability (in various forms and shapes) turns out to be one root cause.
