This is good news for all stakeholders in healthcare. It confirms that Richard Granger has his eye firmly focused on the NHS big picture where savings and efficiency mated with leveraging the massive IT and other economies of scale in complex social environments will in time deliver phenomenal cost savings. We need a few more Napoleon types like RG in our NHS to insure UK Healthcare goes forward delivering compelling value to its needy and increasing customer base.
