Story: South Korea orders Microsoft to unbundle Windows
im not microsofts biggest fan, but it seems unfairs that they have been ordered to place links to competing software in the os, which has been claimed would make it fair, i have never seen a link to media player on any of the realnetworks products, and where would the £18 milion go? it just seems that korea are looking for a cash injection and have picked microsoft, as for bundled products, most consumers like the idea of some of their most used applications are already installed, and apple have in past bundled itunes with their os, so i guess that korea will go for apple next because of the ipod, or perhaps sony for its large range of playstation products, and i dont see what right korea have to pick out a company, although microsoft are no angels they're not the only ones here, every major company could be accquesed of domination of a particular market, i think the korean officials need to wake up and take their first step into realitity!
