Story: Sober worm poised to strike again
My comany's SysAdmin/NetCop used it as an excuse to tell people not to open *any" attachments, click on *any* links in e-mail, or go to *any* new web sites for the first week of 2006.
This essentially makes e-mail about 50% less useful to me in the work environment for that time period, as getting co-workers to put a file on a shared drive and then pointing me to it is both difficult and time-consuming for them, and since I'm working from home some days, and don't have access to the shared drive, wouldn't help anyway.
Gotta love it.
