first it was the boom of Pentium 1 then 2 and so on.and the race now comes to an end..with Pentium 4..
the ones who are on the losing and paying side are the end consumers.
the more the delay the more the advantage when buying any peripheral as every fortnight which is exagerration of course..new technology comes in.

AMD has been better in performance and pricing matters.AMD had the repute of warming up the chips..let's see how it warms this competition arena after Intel has stepped in this arena of introducing new faces..
