Story: Gates warns on the futility of censorship

I am boycotting Microsoft as a result of their cooperation with the Chinese goverment with regard to censorship.
Gates is perhaps right that censorship is futile and that information will be distributed anyway. Unfortunately, many Chinese are now suffering as a result of their attempts to disseminate information. Microsoft have made themselves a party to that suffering.
I do still use some Microsoft products, but will not buy any or recommend them to anyone, until they change their stance. I am posting this from a computer running the Linux operating system instead of Windows!
