"Cloaking" - i.e. delivering a different page to the search engine rather than to visitors - is risky. But google does "automatics redirects" as well. For example,

I wanted to see if my site was available at google.cn, but whenever I entered that URL in the address bar I was automatically directed to google.com (and with no explanation of why either).

That's not quite the same as cloaking, but it's just as deceptive. What did Cicero end his speeches?

Google is simply too powerful, and the only thing BMW's site did wrong was to get caught, according to the SEO handbook.

Oh yes, "And google must be destroyed!"
