Why, Oh Why, are Micro$oft so hell bent on deploying web base apps - I want my software on my PC - used by me on my PC and, only external to that on my demand. The constant web integration is reliant on people having total security & protection - let alone having 'always on' broadband. A vast majority of subscribers have limits on data transfer or are not always on - this reduces the target market to commercial deployment (even here data transfer has costs).

I wonder, who needs .asia domain? I cannot imagine, what would be useful for Microsoft.asia? Toyota.asia? Then let's register .europe (if .eu is too short). Or perhaps Microsoft.southamerica, Dell.australiaandnewzealand, Coca-Cola.africa... Sound funny? Then why not just use the global and country domains? Or perhaps it is time to drop the domains at all?
