Great but why not try to do it with high bandwith PCIE type connections first ? the modules will have to be kept standing on the shelf by something anyway.

Also, I don't see how it's more environmentaly friendly that each component has it's own, nicely polished finish whereas now, it's only the outer case that needs it...
