"Larry Ellison claims the success of Linux is down to IBM, Intel and Oracle".
So why did IBM, Intel and Oracle not create a new "unix" like
Linux.
And why did IBM OS/2 fail although there was IBM.
No, seriously Linux needs users and companies like IBM, Oracle and others, but the fact remains that the amount of work done bye the linux community is the real reason behind the success of linux.
"Open source is not a communist movement" is true ofcourse,
but whoever thought so in the first place.
