Story: Gates mocks $100 laptop

The issue at the heart of this article is whether the $100 laptop is adequate for the job it is being marketed and designed for.
Perhaps the title of the article invites negative feedback, as it implies that only Bill Gates is dubious about the efficacy of the laptop.
However, regardless of your opinion of the man himself, and regardless of your opinion of his company's own projects, in this case he has a valid point!
It is not the PRICE he is taking issue with but the design.
