Story: Microsoft makes last-ditch antitrust plea
Never in the history of ( IT) mankind has any company tried as hard as Microsoft to complie with this silly EU antitrust thing.
I am so happy it is their last-ditch.
However, I wonder why they do not simply release the documentiation asked for.
Seems like a very easy and cheap solution to me.
Now, of course, there are those who believe Microsoft has no documentation at all.
The truth about the protocolls is hidden in a immense mountain of messy code.
As a programmer I know it happes (a lot).
In that case with this "unlimitedness" of Microsoft, why not then simply employ all their competitors and the open source community to document and rewrite that huge mess.
Perhaps the problems with getting Vista ready would dissapear had sombody documented their protocolls.
