Why am I not surprised? The current government seems totally bedazzled when dealing with big business. Add in some hi-tech of which they know absolutely nothing, and watch the companies rub their hands with glee. What's needed is a large dose of scepticism on the part of politicians and civil servants and maybe a little experience of the outside world.
