Does IE integration with Windows stop me downloading Firefox? NO
Does Microsoft Windows Media player integration with Windows stop me downloading Cyberlink DVD, Real Player, Winamp or other media players? NO
Does Microsoft bundling anti spyware software with windows stop me installing Avast or NOD32? NO.
Does microsoft bundling wordpad and notepad with windows stop me from installing Openoffice? NO
Just because Dell bundle the shittiest Antivirus on the planet (Symantec) with my machine does that mean i am not going to fight to take the crap off my computer or ideally format it and start again just so i can install something decent? NO.
Just because my PC came with windows does that mean i wont install Linux? NO.
Microsoft can bundle what the hell they want with their OS it wont stop me going out finding software that can do things better, differently or just how i like it to be done.
Stop with this molly coddling approach to losers who cannot compete, stop interfering in markets you do not understand. Let people compete as they see fit. It is Microsoft's OS they can do what the hell they want with it. As Microsoft said in their anti trust lawsuit. Just because pepsi has a 6 pack does that mean they must have 1 can of Coke in every 6 pack to stop it being a monopoly in their own packaging?
This anti trust shit is stupid and should fucking stop. The only reason they are doing it is for a stealth Tax on the most powerful company in the world.
Companies who are complaining about the Monopoly need to get off their arses, quit whining about stuff and get fucking making their software better than what MS does. If you can't compete fuck off out of the market place and let someone who can take your place do it instead.
Before anyone says "what about the people who dont know any better?" well they are best off with the microsoft based software as they wont get anywhere in life without it. Let technology progress instead of trying to make it harder and life harder for everyone who wants a new windows install.
