Story: Who needs a word processor?
Thank you for mentioning gOFFICE.com in your article. Microsoft's announcement of their new anti-piracy campaign may drive even more end-users to the online office suites. Consumers are not going to like nagging messages or unresolved licensing agreement issues for necessary updates. Although it is an opt-in program, people are already complaining about bugs with preistalled software. In addition, someone has already written a crack for the program.
The online office suites may not as robust as the Microsoft product, but may meet the needs of home users. We also won't pester you with licensing updates and a paperclip.
