You are not reading your own data correctly... Look at the iTunes, DivX test. If you ran these tasks one after another, they would complete in 159 seconds. Throw in 100% more processor power (2nd CPU), and your tasks complete in, yes! - 150 seconds! 100% more CPU gives you a whole extra 6% throughput. A reasonable time? Not impressive at all, I'd say...

Looks like the same old Intel bottlenecks to me.....
