I used DSL for one year. Got ticked off at Comcast Cable and had to sign up with my phone company, SBC,
for a one year contract for DSL service. Speed was supposed to 768KPS to 1.5meg download speed. My fastest download was 141KPS. Average was around 65KPS, barely faster than dial-up. Cost was $39.95 per month. Could hardly wait for the year to pass so I could get back on cable. Down on cable runs 400KPS to700KPS, consistently.
