Story: BBC slipped up over outsourcing savings

Seems to me BECTU could've taken a more direct approach to protecting the interests of its members in this case than quibbling over the exact amount of cost savings: IANAL but I'd guess the 1807 Anti-Slave Trade Act, the 1833 Slavery Abolition |Act and Article 4 of the 1998 Human Rights Act could be applicable here.
