Story: The Internet is not the music industry's plaything

What makes me laugh is that the music industry protrays itself as protecting the artists and ensuring that they "get their due".

I have met several musicians and they are as poor as church mice. Only the biggest stars make money in the music business and the first thing they do is set up their own labels to get out from under thumb of the music industry.

The only people the music protects is themselves and they will trample over anyone - ISPs, users and artists who threatens the smooth running of their gravy train.
