The M word

Microsoft is almost a swear word in some circles so I agree no matter how good IE7 became there would still be Firefox users.
However, seeing as Firefox is vastly superior anyway it is the logical choice. Unfortunately logic alone isn't enough.
Many users simply go with whatever is more easily available (i.e. preinstalled with OS) or is more well known (best example is Apple who through marketing and making the iPod fashionable enjoys more sales than companies that make superior devices such as creative).
