I really doubt how much money need to be spend to create such a software and maintain it. If Verdiem does care about the Earth, why not just give it free to schools and government?
It seems to me that Earth isn't their concern, bring up a concept and earn money on it is.
Let a software to control how we use computer is bizarre. All we need is a simple habit: Shutdown the machine when you don't need it.
