"As a best practice, customers should obtain security updates and guidance from the original software vendor," a Microsoft representative said in a statement.
Makes sense, since the "original software vendor" is responsible for the poorly written software in the first place. They also should be held responsible for damage done to companies and losses incurred. Of
course anyone still using IE is foolish anyway.
