The real message here is that web developers shouldn't be focusing on a single web browser version. There's too much going on to bet on a single horse because betting on the wrong one will translate into a whole bunch of wasted web development hours. Not to mention to explain to the brass that, yes, we knowingly frustrated 1 out of each 10 possible prospects as a way to benefit this companies bottom line overall. Do you really think that your own statistics tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

As such a more overall friendly approach seems to be in order.
