Making steady progress
The W3C validator now reports: Failed validation, 17 errors. This is in addition to the warnings. It is better than a few days ago.
While I like the contents being provided on this website, I still think that most errors could have been easily fixed before launching this new site.
E.g. some HTML elements still use capital letters, some attributes are non-standard and should be replaced with CSS-styles, where possible. Also, many errors are down to un-escaped ampersands in URLs.
Accessibiliy is another issue and is harder to implement.
There is too much reliance on colors, links are not underlined, the screen is not re-sizable, etc. This website does not meet common accessiblity guidelines at the moment!
