Story: Large public-sector Linux project flops
Large public-sector project flops.. due to poor management!
I think that the title is comprehensively misleading. If four or five systems administrators at a school in Skegness can roll out 120 computers, which use far more demanding programmes that a library would, for the measly sum of £6,000, then why can the half-million only setup 200 computers?
I think BCC needs a severe dressing down, and instead of moving the project back to XP, hire the Skegness Teachers during their summer break!
